2022 Yellow Fish Road Program Update

Group painting yellow fish in front of a storm drainThe Timmins Yellow Fish Road Program had a very successful year! In 2022, 248 students participated in the program and marked 194 storm drains and distributed over 713 educational door hangers throughout our community.

This water education program is a great way for our community to learn about the importance of source water protection and preventing stormwater pollution. Participants receive an educational presentation with fun activities, paint local storm drains with yellow fish and participate in a community cleanup along the way!
